Nicolaitans and Practical Living

Men,

During one of our ManDate Weekends, there was a discussion about, "living a life that is driven by a lack of concern for its impact on others is dangerous."

The lack of interest in being and staying frequently before ADONAI in (Word, deed and prayer) is apathy towards what He teaches and Commands of those who choose to follow Him.

Should a man continue in this manner, he would be no less than callous to the Truth of Yeshua (Jesus).

That was the "place" of the Nicolaitans ("the conquering of people").

Moving/leading your family (home or church) in this manner is a destructive thing. It is a supreme irritation to the One Who sent a message to them via a messenger (angel).  They were becoming distant and cold to the Truth they had come to know and understand.

The Nicolaitans were a group of early "believers" who were considered heretical by their body and to the places their actions were spreading. Their beliefs are mentioned in Revelation 2. It reminds me of some things I am witnessing these days.

These folks were also said "to have retained pagan practices of idolatry and immorality and woven them in their lifestyles."

It is never okay to be spiritually unstable.

It is not all right to have one foot in both worlds. How strict does one need to be about separation from the world? That answer will depend on if you desire to be a trusted servant of the Most High GOD.

Lawlessness will save a man a nice warm seat in hell, as it can and will lead you away from your Holy Creator.
