We Are Always Growing and Maturing
When a person initially surrenders his/her life to ADONAI, that individual is considered “a baby”. The spiritual meal is usually “spiritual milk.” How long is he or she in that state?
I offer to you.. Always and forever. Our maturation and growth would depend on the situation we are in. This is a fact because we are ever-learning and ever-growing. ...at least we should be. I still have many “wow” moments! When I have conversations with another servant of the LORD and when I am studying Scripture, many revelations are experienced.
Although people can quote Scripture, or, be strong in some situations, they are never always confident in the life they live, and the Spirit and the Word of the Father will be their Guides and Sources for hope and help.
None of us EVER reach maturity to the point of stopping the all-out search for Almighty GOD and His Truth. We people don't truly know what Truth is, so, we must be on the hunt for It.
When the Truth is staring us in the face, we will contort our bodies to look around Him, to look for another resource, when what we hear does not fit what we want it to.
As continuous "little children", we walk and fall often.
Just like babies, we must learn to speak. We must learn to walk. We must learn to crawl. We are always supposed to listen and obey the Spirit of the LORD. We are encouraged to grow in faith (trust). The scenarios of trials, temptations, struggles of life as a whole is a school where we have to learn to pray, research, study and read. We don't come into this world, fresh off the turnip truck (the womb) ready to take on the evil one's (devil and his imps) schemes. We need to be trained and increase in our ability to obey the Father’s Words. This takes years and years.
The seminary does not get you there. Attending a Kehillah (church attendance) will not get you there. Personal Bible study, prayer, fasting, obedience to the Spirit continually, are all part of the journey. You say, "I do all of those." You say, "I have done all of those?" Start over!
GOD can’t be fully understood, figured out, explained or learned <HUGE smile>. He can be repeatedly studied and sought after though. In all my years of following and serving Him, I am persuaded that there is much more to Him than anyone has ever learned. I am STILL clue LESS!
To say that He is only (3) is a bit ridiculous. You think? I am just saying… Our quest to know El Elyon (Most Hight GOD) is a very long journey. When we die, we will still just have been scratching at the surface of understanding and knowing His Ways.
Throughout Scripture, He tells us from His own mouth, or one of His many disciples to: seek, bless Him (praise), pray, fast, study, trust, walk with and follow Him (it is all worship--if it is for His glory).
“IF” we do these things, we will ALWAYS be a “newborn baby”. Why? There is so much to know and learn. When He shows us something new about Himself, it’s like getting a new toy to play with. We become like squirrels attempting to gather all the nuts we can. When our cheeks and arms are full, we look up and notice another one to enjoy THAT one too.
In the words of Michael Junior, a Christian comedian. He is talking to his four-year-old son, as he asks question after question of him. Michael looks at him and says, “Man! You have been her for (4) years and you don’t know nothing.” Certainly, we understand the academic reference to a child/person being in college and still don’t have a clue.
That, in a “nutshell” describes us, when it comes to learning and understanding our Father and His Ways.
Isn't He something?!
