Listening to the Spirit Leads to Balance

The Hebrew word for "ear" is ozen. It is used in Scripture to refer to the physical organ of hearing.  There are two of these on our bodies and one sense of internal focus.

"The heart of the prudent gets knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge" — Proverbs 18:15

In a subjective intent, ADONAI can often employ things to uncover the 'ear' revealing to the receiver a Message He wants them to have revelation of.

If you look at Scripture contextually, ears are used figuratively to represent spiritual readiness and attentiveness to GOD's Word.

We know that ears are part of the physical creation of the body. Since we have two.

How important do you think they are for not only the PHYSICAL listening for understanding normal instructions, but the SPIRITUAL as well?

”Whoever has ears, let them hear" —Matthew 13:9-16

This passage also includes the idea that people can see but not understand and hear but not comprehend.

"He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My Words" —Matthew 11:15

Those who 'say' they love the LORD are often caught unaware of His devices, plans and will because we are in a hurry to please Him, but often by doing our own things.  We don't slow down to listen, hear and understand. <SHEMA>

Ears are also used to symbolize the need to attend to what has been commanded.  Ears are used to show the need to be open to GOD's voice.  ...and again, the need to be drawn to GOD's Words. Every letter from Genesis to the Revelation of Yeshua the Savior.

Another use of the word OZEN is the verb "AZAN."

It comes from the word ozen and means "to balance" or "to equalize". It also has been employed to cause us “to harken" and it emphasizes “turning one's face to the direction of the sound.”

Are we all getting the Biblical picture and metaphor here?

The medical term Vertigo is a type of dizziness that can be caused by issues in the inner ear or brain. It messes up the balance. Correct? If you have ever experienced Vertigo, or known someone who has it, you know this can be a problem.

Spiritual Vertigo happens when life becomes out of whack, especially when we are not listening to what GOD's Spirit is saying to us.

If we lack or don’t prioritize spending time in the Word of ADONAI, our world would be disrupted. That will cause our walk with Him disorderly and out of balance. We become dizzy and disoriented and lose our ability to stand in faith and on His Truth and eventually we lose our way. We also lose our step and find ourselves stumbling.

When we conduct HEARING tests we can quickly see if "the balance is intact." What and who r you listening to?

The stance and direction of a person is often a good indication if they are off-balance and the direction they are headed.

A balance disorder, also known as disequilibrium, is a condition that affects a person's ability to maintain their balance and stability. It can cause feelings of unsteadiness, dizziness, or spiritual vertigo.

Are you out of balance? When was the last time you had a listening and hearing test?

"The ear that hears the reproof of life abides among the wise"
Proverbs 15:31
